Daily Bridge Puzzle: Common Questions
Everything about how the puzzle works, who it's for, and how to get the most from each day's challenge.
What is the Bridgetastic Daily Bridge Puzzle?
The Bridgetastic Daily Bridge Puzzle presents one bridge problem every day, and everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day. Each puzzle covers bidding decisions, opening lead choices, or declarer play problems drawn from real bridge situations. After you answer, you get an expert explanation from Brian, Bridgetastic's AI bridge coach. Your streak is tracked locally so you can see how consistently you're playing.
How often does the bridge puzzle change?
A new puzzle appears every day at midnight. The same puzzle is available to all players for 24 hours. Past puzzles are accessible in the puzzle archive.
What types of bridge problems does the daily puzzle cover?
The daily puzzle rotates through three main problem types: bidding problems (what should you bid with this hand given the auction?), opening lead problems (which card should you lead against this contract?), and declarer play problems (what is the correct line of play to make your contract?). Each puzzle includes difficulty level, so beginners and experienced players can gauge the challenge.
Is the daily bridge puzzle free?
Yes, completely free. No account required. You can play every day's puzzle without signing up. Your streak and progress are saved locally on your device.
Can I share my bridge puzzle result?
Yes. After completing a puzzle, you'll see a share button that copies a result card to your clipboard (similar to Wordle). The result shows your answer (correct or not) without spoiling the puzzle for others. Share to bridge forums, WhatsApp groups, or social media.
What level of bridge player is this puzzle for?
The puzzles are designed for intermediate players who know the basic rules of bridge and common conventions like Stayman and Blackwood. Beginners may find some problems challenging but the explanations are written to teach, not just give answers. Experienced players will find trickier problems in the archive covering competitive bidding, slam decisions, and card play technique.
